APO and PSP Still fooling around with APO. So much to learn! Thank you, Nancy, for your tips. I'm a bit disappointed when I go to the Help files...seems there is nothing in the index. I guess we just have to fly by the seat of our pants! LOL!

this image looks like a very intricate wing, now you just need one more and you can fly with wings instead of the seat of your pants. Great image!! love the details.

Very pretty! You're doing just fine, by the way! And yes, I'm afraid that sometimes, with Apo, you do have to "wing it", and just try to figure things out the hard way. However, if you do some scouting around online, you'll find that there are some tutorials for Apo, written by various folks. I found one here: http://www.arcanefractals.com/apop_tut1.shtml That might be a good one to try, and if you do a google search, and put in the words Apophysis, tutorials then you'll likely come up with more sites to try. It's worth a shot to find a good tutorial for the program, because otherwise, you're gonna spend a lot of time just trying to figure everything out, and not getting nearly as much done as you'd like. At least, that's what happened to me when I first started using it! But keep at it, because the things you can get from Apo are really astoundingly beautiful!

Very very nice flame! No good helps, tho, for Apo because there are so many different versions and no definite ownership...LOL.

Beautiful, graceful design. I love the pastel blues and lavenders.

You're quite welcome...but, pffft..you've taken to the proggie like a fish to water, Maddy...You're soaring! Just look at this one..it's an absolute beauty! Congrats! :)))I particularly love the variations of color on the left. Now you undoubtedly see what I meant about toying with the gradient. As for the index..you're right..besides, sometimes, flying by the seat of your pants is a truly underrated thing...hehehe. Lovely work! :)
