Description

After looking at some of the photos of beautiful birds that have been posted, this one seems kind of drab. But, this is a common bird where I am (we always have three or four on the ground under our bird feeder). I happened to be standing still and this guy just kept coming closer and closer. I know the surroundings aren't the best -- but this is what the FL heat can do to the grass if there isn't enough rain or watering (this wasn't my yard). I truly appreciate all the comments on my previous posts! Have a great day! Joie :^)

These Mourning Doves are hard to get great focus on. They seem to have a natural deflection. Excellent Capture!
