WOW Ken, I've never see one with colouring like that before ! I agree there is a fair amount of battle damage from tougher than expected prey ! Fine capture & ~Cheers~ :o)

I agree that this is a color and wing pattern I haven't seen. but you live on the other side of the US so who knows what can be found up there? Lovely shot!

Quite well titled. This dragonfly does look like a biplane. One year I tracked one of these because of a tear in one wing. I love these creatures. Well done image...thanks for this one.

Excellent Ken! I love these critters. They always seem curious and fly about our heads. Sometimes they land on our shoulders. Very cool to feel like you are touching nature.
