Been an artist of various types pretty much all my life: pencils - paint - watercolors, mosaics of beach glass, writing 'stories', musician (first love), photography, software design. Started messing with Bryce & Photoshop a few of years ago and have gotten more involved with various 3D apps recently (Lightwave, Cinema 4d, Vue, etc). But my pictures, both rendered and captured, pretty much tell who I am. My bunny, Brenda aka JustAlice here, and I live in a little house out in the countryside of Indiana.

WOW Ken, I've never see one with colouring like that before ! I agree there is a fair amount of battle damage from tougher than expected prey ! Fine capture & ~Cheers~ :o)

Wow, this would be a good opponent for my Red Baron I sent you the other day. They are bi-planes you know.

I agree that this is a color and wing pattern I haven't seen. but you live on the other side of the US so who knows what can be found up there? Lovely shot!

Quite well titled. This dragonfly does look like a biplane. One year I tracked one of these because of a tear in one wing. I love these creatures. Well done image...thanks for this one.

A bit war torn, but still going strong. Great macro! :o)

Excellent Ken! I love these critters. They always seem curious and fly about our heads. Sometimes they land on our shoulders. Very cool to feel like you are touching nature.
