Description
This is a close up of the nose of a B17 known as "The Yankee Lady". She is a wonderful ship and for 800 or so dollars you can fly in her. I just thought this was an angle not to many people got. It is a wonder how the gunner got in there?

The chin turret added considerably to the B-17G being able to fend off head on attacks. Actually the gunner operated the .50s remotely from the plexiglass nose. Great POV on this capture.

I have a shot of her taking off, I will load it in the morning. The Gunner I thought sat in that glass area there. But in person it is much smaller than this picture shows. In fact I got in the ball on one of these, and let me tell you, there is not much room.
