Not bad, but post work is a key thing. makes the whole thing look more realistic, Xtinction's hair tutorials are the best I've used for post production hair. You have a good eye for pose so you'er on your way.

Yeah- its time to start working with textures and anything but default hair. its not bad at all in composition- the ball kinda bugs me because its touching the left border
