During the Labor Day Parade in my area there is a special float for the U.S. Marines that makes its way down the street. This float instead of being a replica of the statue and photos of the raising of the flag in Iwo Jima are real men (who at this point in time took a break and stretched out some. Sadly they didn't resume the pose until after they had passed me.)The first time I had seen this particular float (a couple years ago) I nearly jumped out of my skin when the men started to move because I had not given thought to the fact that they may be real.
