Description

Books communicate thoughts and ideas. What if there was another type of book that could communicate thoughts and ideas but could not be held? What if there was a type of book that had no physical form to it? What if that book could not be held and yet it just was? Could there be something like this in our fantasy universe? I believe there could be. Some where on the edges of the Riftmar Galaxy there is a region that gathers and collects thoughts and ideas. This region has been called the The Universal Lexicon. Thoughts can be likened to radio waves. They are broadcast out to the universe and travel many light years until they find a repository. There they land ever so softy and are captured within The Universal Lexicon. There are no pages in the lexicon that we can see. How one accesses this immense storehouse of knowledge is quite interesting. One travels to the lexicon repository and ponders a question. Once released, this question then floats within the repository of knowledge and soon an answer comes wafting into the mind. This repository does not provide the final answer to the puzzle but acts more as a creative muse to the creator of the question. So what can we do here in this repository? We can become enlightened and inspired for the creativity is always within the holder of the question. This repository merely gives us a nudge so that our creative muses can take over. What an exciting and interesting thing to have happen. So if you need your muses recharged, just take a little trip to The Universal Lexicon and see what happens. Created in Apophysis. Thank you for stopping by to look at my art. Thank you for your comments on this image and my previous images. I send a heart felt thank you to those of you who favored me as an artist or favored one of my images. I appreciate it very much. May your creative muses delight and excite your mind and may they help to bring your dreams into form.

I think this would be a great way to get knowledge but I hope books don't disappear as I like reading. A lovely fractal and an inventive story.

Very beautiful. Looking deep into the center of a large bottomless pool and just keep right on going. Reading by the melding of minds not pages perhaps?
