Description

The Mother The Mother or Queen of the wood, is also worthy of praise. She is noble and graceful but she can also seem hard as stone, she is Oak, a wood that stands on it's own. Strangely the Mother prefers the quick growing sycamore. We gasp, we shudder, we cry 'but it's just a weed!' The Queen replies 'Nonsense! I love the sycamore seed, I wear it has my crown, and no other jewel do I need. This seed outshines everything I have dreamed!' The Son The Son will follow.... When we find him! He's an adventurous sort so he's probably wandering in his woodland home atop the Heights of Abraham. The story of the Tree Family is on a plaque close by the three carvings and is signed 'Andrew Frost, 11th October 2000' Thanks for stopping by, and for any comments you care to make. I hope you have enjoyed the trilogy and it's story. May the sun shine down on you where ever you are.

Another Wonderful photo Jeff. I've enjoyed this series greatly. While I was there at The Heights of Abraham I missed all detailed information you have posted about the Woodland Family. It was well worth reading, Thanks.
