It's all too quiet out there, maybe something is about to happen! Good image and use of light

The ships your own modeling? If so hats off! They are amazing! But isn't the access symetric display not bothering you? I mean the gunmen did their best to leae the guns retired at the EXACT angle the spot lights are pointing at the exact same area from the ship; I meant even the ships are tied up at a mirror reflection distane to the doc. I am not saying that it is not possible, it's just that it takesaway from all the good efforts you are displaying here. Even IF you made the ships. By the way welcome aboard! So few have started off with such a pair of images!

Black--No, I didn't create the models...I'm just now learning to do so and have created a fair vase and texture to go with it...but I would like to model ships of some sort in the near future, though think I'll have to move up from sPatch to do so :0) You are right about the boats and the way they are sitting...I was lazy and just duplicated and slid it over, the main reason to see how the light would effect the opposite side. I've been thinking about changes that I'd like to do, say like adding ropes so they are actually tied to the pier, changing turret and gun angles, maybe some crates stacked on the dock and on both boats and not to forget, having men actually doing things in the scene...I suppose it can be called a work in progress if I can actually do part of these ideas. BTW, I just checked to see who made the patrol boat model and there isn't a readme file in the zip which is named pboat3ds.zip so if anyone does know who created it, please post it since I don't even remember where I d/l'ed the file.
