Description
Interesting mural on the wall of a pub here in Bucharest, obviously religious, and just as obviously depincting Jonah being rescued from the mouth of the whale or whatever mammal/fish that swallowed him. Looked darn old, which makes me wonder what the hell it's doing in a pub. All the same, thought it was interesting, minor photoshopping to remove the background wall it was hanged to.

Interesting in the extreme. Nice shot ! Maybe the pub used to be some sort of church building ? Was the mural part of the actual wall ?

This is a very old Orthodox icon. I have to wonder if the artist traded it to pay up his bill way back when? Interesting place to find this. :o)
