Description
The construction of the main town church began in 1338 on the site of a previous Romance church from the 12th century. The smelting plant of Václav Parléř and Lorenzo Spening participated in the construction of the three-aisled hall , which was finished as late as the early 16th century.

Being of European birth, I can see one of the many reasons I miss europe and my own country, Germany. It is the very reason of your photogaph, there is history and permanence here. IN the US, things chage constantly. Thank you for sharing. egmont
