i love the hordes in the background, and the contrast between blue and red. the main figure reminds me of a character in a couple of books i love. it's kind of mellow fantasy with a pig for a main character, but there's this character called the Manslayer (one of four Warlords). he has glowing cat eyes, antlers, and wears the flayed skins of his enemies around his waist. on top of being a scary warrior, he's a world class sorcerer. oddly, he's not exactly a bad guy (he's loyal to his lord and his people), though he gets a lot of joy out killing. as soon as i saw this image, that's who came to mind.

I've just looked through your whole gallery and I have to say... your work is absolutely stunning. You could easily be working for a game company designing profile pictures for RPGs and stuff. Truly amazing stuff. I can't wait to see more!
