That bee has been around for awhile by the looks of the edging of his or her wings. I for one have not seen this kind of spieces before, but through your photography, I have learned something new. Thank you for sharing. egmont

A spectacular shot of this gigantic specimen! They are pretty intimidating because of their size, but really quite docile and not prone to stinging without provocation. This one is so shiny you can see the reflection of the sun on its back! Very cool capture!
