Description

Wow. I haven't uploaded anything in ages. Long story short- I've been busy. And the stuff I've been doing has been for Teh Corporate. But hey! Good news! Spiral Productions LLC is producing the next film I get to direct, and it's going to be intense! So far this is really the only thing I have permission to show, but I dig it. Check out the movie website at www.subjectc.com Oh. I have a new website too, www.robotsoup.com. It's kinda a fun site. Feel free to check it out.

PhEnOmEnAl work as usual. I absolutely love it. KNow that it is brilliant before I make a wise crack... When I first saw this image, I got a chuckle out of it, because it's like the old elephant-hides-in-the-strawberry-patch-by-painting-its-toes-red joke. This is like a huge 'bot put its foot in somebody's yard and then stood veeerrrry still so as not to alert the neighbors. :) Anyway, having looked at it carefully and actually not knowing exactly what the scene is about, I still can say without hesitation that your textures remain some of the best going, and your models are characteristically terrific. I love it, love it, love it. Thanks for putting it up for us to see.

For very long time I have been waiting for your next picture. I thought you will switch from Blender to some better program. But you remain with Blender. Your work is well... at least excellent :) but why do you keep working in Blender?

In answer to your question Mykes, I have to imagine that if you looked at Blender now you'd be surprised. It does SSS, fluid/dynamic/cloth/particle simulations, It's powerful, and the user-base is great. It's also open source, so if you know coding, or know someone who does, you can theoretically make it do practically anything. If I felt limited by the software, I would move on, but at this point, the software is advancing much faster than I am. You should check it out. But hey! Thanks for your comments! Thanks to all of you.
