Description
For SERAFIMA, superb artist, wonderful lady and dear friend.
I am not good at this and apologize up front but wanted to do something to show how I feel. Best way for me to do that is through the kids I love to work with so much, let them show my emotions.
Alone: I want to wake up and it all be a bad dream, I want to read her wonderful and kind messages, I want to tell her one last time what a great friend she has been to me. Instead I feel alone, looking for my friend who meant so much to me and so many others and now is gone. My thoughts and prayers go out to her daughter as they will every night. Sorry, I am at a loss to say anymore even though she deserves it. Will post credits sometime. Don't want anyone to rate this but if you have some nice words for Sera please feel free.

The sad thing is that those of who didn't know her or her work, never will. Her gallery is empty, her work gone. IT seems that at least one or two of her images should have been left to honor her. I never new of her or her work, and all I found was an empty gallery. That was sad. YOur image of the mother and children and your comments draw tears to my eyes.

this brought tears to me Dave, you couldn't have captured the preciousness & speechlessness of loss better if you tried; I know how it feels and people here do too. I won't dwell on the details of the image, but just to say that your wonderful sense of the small things in each soul, their tiny wrinkles in the face, the subtleties you capture in gesture, clothing, etc. all go to make us feel a soul and its interaction with all other souls; and you couldn't have shown that more sensitively and delicately than you did here. There's a sense of love and coming together through loss; and the knowledge, in your rich transcendent background and most of all in the love between these three, that love will live on even when your dear friend won't. A deep & courageous offering: It takes courage to write those words and do such an artpiece, especially when loss is sitting inside you so heavily; and I thank you for it. Deepest sympathies even many months later. This is a deeply moving piece, my friend, and glowing, just glowing with love...
