Description
I know not everyone likes rhubarb, but I love it, and can personally attest to the fact that this rhubarb pie was absolutely amazing, delicious, awesome, and perfect!
The blackberry pie was great too, but it was pretty much gone by the time I went back with the camera. Of course I ate pie BEFORE taking pictures! He who hesitates is lost, as they say. My father-in-law was there, and it's always a race to the pie when he's around!

ah heck! I thought it was American apple pie. I ate a little rhubarb as a child but never developed a taste for it.excellent capture and I will pretend it is apple!!

Tara, you really MUST cease and desist from posting these awesome food pictures. They make my mouth water and all those other things that precede an untimely trip to the fridge! The photo is fantastic, having captured every nuance of that gorgeous, golden, flaky, melt-in-the-mouth pastry, and the oozing blobs of delicious fruity sweetness. OMG! (I'm off to the fridge again!) PS. The full sized view is VERY satisfying.

Rhubarb isn't something I care for at all, but I still grow it because my husband and son love it. This is a great shot, but dang, girl, I am SO hungry!!!

OHHH YUMMY!!!!!! I LUUV Rubarb pie...im sure :))) Never tasted it, but I could have, because I have rubarb in my garden. But I have eaten rubarb cake many times. Actually it not a cake at all. It is just stewed Rubarb in layers with sugar fried breadcrumbs and on the top layer whipped cream. LOL! So we also do with apples and with strawberries.
