Description

Notes: Lastest texture scheme this one for the Emperor's Children Legion, who turned traitor in the Horus Heresy. The Legion was orginally the only Legion given the honor of wearing the Imperial double headed eagle on there chest plate armor, and during the Heresy many continued to wear it depending on the type of armor, a pervision of the honor they once held. The Legion fell to victem to worship of the perverse chaos God Slaanesh and their shamefull accesses and perversions are known throughout the 40K universe. Viewers may note the lead Marine with the eagle on the chest armor bears the female form and visage of a demonette, a demon of Slannesh, indicating the Marine is possesed by the same. Demonettes are, in keeping with the ways of their patron god, at once seductive and at the same time vicious, cunning and quick, and above all deadly. They have large hypnotic eyes, sharp fanges, and truelly evil dispostions. I thought that the possessed Marine's demonic form would offer a nice counter point to the Imperial symbols still adorning the armor. Well hard at work on additional textures, I actually made this one entirely today, there's another one I finished waiting in the wings, and more to come.
