Description

I'm not very satisfied by this picture, there is a big lack of lyricism... Perharps it's better to don't make picture when we are not inspired... :-D

moi j'aime bien la le casque ne me chagrine po par contre la pierre fait trop naturelle par rapport au reste du dessin et j'aime bien le coté dynamique des poses

Fantastic image great poses and POV. Only one thing that looked off. The gladiators left leg looked a bit odd not sure why, how it is bent or the foot against the rock? Something looks a miss. Otherwise classic image! Cheers

Hmm.... a lack of lyricism... imho, there's no lack because of the impressing emotions that your artwork is displaying. The poses are extraordinary, really. Even the rock blends prefectly into your work. A special artwork with wonderful lights. MORE! ~Sassy~

Uninspired? I'm not. Sometimes pushing out one to break the block is a helpful exerise. Putting even uninspired work, done well, in front of an audience, may inspire others. Don't be afraid of opinion. I have found working through the block and then taking a short break evaluating the last 5 pieces to be helpful. Also, surfing the gallery here at 'Rosity I have found to be a great inspiration. Your work is no exception.

I understand that you feel a 'lack of lyricism'. I've felt that way about my work many times too. But sooner or later that feeling gives way to a burst of renewed creativity. Personally, I like this image very much!

I don't see anything really wrong with this image either. I've been really uninspired lately and have been working hard on developing my own style just to try and make art interesting again for me. You already have an excellent original style and if you can learn something from every image you make, you can only get better. Maybe try something different next time, like an odd camera angle or a more crowded scene, and see if the change inspires you. Regardless, lots of us enjoy whatever you create so keep up the good work! :)

I don't know I think one of the was artists grow is to create art. Create when your inspired, create when your not, just keep creating. I think this image is great. It has a Warlord of Mars feel to it. Keep up the incredible work.

The composition and poses in this scene are perfect, so I will rate it a 5 as for all your earlier ones. But maybe to renew your inspiration you need some different subjects than a sword fight, hehe?

I love it, but I understand where you are coming from. I have been banging away at a new image for days now but nothing really interesting has popped up and says post me! I think the image needs to be faded at the bottom, cause the rocks pop out alot, that or some fog. Great image once again! Robert
