I like wood and the textures they reveal to us. In thhis fine example of your we are also treated to a wonderful compositiional dynamics and because of it, I would like to suggest having cropped even tighter so that it becomes more abstract and less a scene. By cropping from from the second empty square peg in the stud, making it also more of a horizontal image, we focus on the structure more and the interaction of space. I would then proceed to also clone out the lower right hand section as the tip of the hill in the background would only be a distraction. The reason for the primary suggestion to all this is that I find the background in general distracting, especially since the photogrpah has so much going for itself. I like shoting close-ups of barns since they do have so many unique features. Thank you you.
