Description

Another illustration for the Stargate Atlantis magazine - this is a half way station that links an Atlantis style gate with the original SG-1 gate to create a complete travel system between galaxies - nifty! ;) All Cinema 4D R10 Adam :)

I love how you did this! Very cool structure of girders and beams in a utilitarian construct linked to this ancient and elegant-looking device for the gate. Excellent job!

Gorgeous work on this one, I lamented at the time that they didn't have a long enough shot of it on the show that you could just sit and take it in for a while. Didn't they end up blowing this thing up though?

My hat's off to you, keeping all those pieces sorted! Really great shader on the gate section.

the station looks sweet and the eye for detail is admirable, though, the gates are a bit too thick.

Very nice construction. My only criticism would be that for a station it looks a bit hollow. :)

How many polygons did this render use? Also, how did you manage the textures? Were they hand done or what? This is amazing work!!! +++++ I think I'm going to watch SG Atlantis now...
