Description
US-550 between Ironton and Silverton, Colorado is challenging driving year-round. Unfortunately I hadn't yet learned of the graduated neutral-density filter at the time of this shot.

Ah, the most favorite of mountain roads... the switchback! :-) This is lovely with the curving of the road and the trees with a nice shot of how the mountain drops into the valley.

It might be easier to view the whole image and make it much sharper too, if you could reduce the image size by half. The resized image is much clearer and more pleasing than the full size view, IMHO. I remember this road well, I nearly drove off one of those switchbacks! It's a stunning drive and a beautiful place, and you have captured it so nicely.
