Description

While in the Keystone Village in Colorado we spent time in the River Run Plaza. Besides all the shopping & eating that can be done you can do some boating too. Here is my son working hard to keep up with someone... or get closer to the geese, I don't remember which! I wasn't going to risk drowning my good camera, so the camera used here was my old Canon power shot. The highlights get blown out a bit with that BUT the look on his face is priceless so I wanted to show you. EDIT: I don't usually ask this but ~ clicking on this image really brings out the color. So, please try it and tell me what you think. I appreciate your visit! Jodie Please visit my personal website...

Ha! Nice capture. The water dripping from the paddle is a nice bit, too.

When my daughter was 10 we went to a narrow river and took our kayak. She hardly ever got out of that kayak in the 4 days we were there. She was a fisherman then too and learned early in the trip that fishing from one is for the experienced only. If you hook a fish and it fights too hard, you might have to practice your rolling techniques. :-) This is a fun and happy shot with good compo.

Gangway, here he comes! I hope he's got a driver's license! Great freeze frame capture of the adventurous soul in full stride, plus the grand water reflections and the splash from his oar. I have limited access to this area, but the full size view was even better. Good colors.

A capture full of emotion and animation, your son in great contrast to the idle participants in the background.

LOL at his face. Adorable capture, Jodie and a real slice of life. The colors are great. I can't believe how early the trees change color there!
