Description

Whilst in Sri Lanka we saw a lot of wild elephants but also went to an Elephant Orphanage. This is where I took this. I think baby elephants are so adorable, don't you? Perfect POV of the precocious pachyderm, seeking sustenance from its adopted mother, Sis! The clarity, textures and lighting effects are wonderful in this capture. I didn't know there was such a thing as an elephant orphanage.

It appears as though the baby is in the infamous "why" stage. Asking why all the time. Though, I'm sure he's awful cute doing it! ^.^ I've come to the conclusion over the last few years that baby ANYTHING is cute. As long as it's a baby, it's automatically cute. It's the eyes, I think. nod Awesome capture as always, this is such an adorable picture.

Awwww how cute. I love elephants, too. But man oh man...do they stink or what??? After seeing them up close and personal, I started calling them 'smell-o-phants'. Beautiful, sweet capture, Eileen. Thx for sharing and glad to know there are such places for these amazing creatures. -M :^)
