Description

I just got the nikon D80. I have to let the battery charge up but as it was just 1/4 charge I went to the art walk at the end of it. I did take some shots but they was bad so I deleted them . The lady was walking along by me and I noted she was looking at my camera. I told her I just bought it 3 hours earlier. I ask if I can take her photo so she stop and let me shoot her. I show how the shots was comeing out and the man walked up so I got him too with the flash on. In the first three shots just the nature lighting then in the forth I used flash. In the 5th I took the first image and the forth and cut her out and paste her on the first. I did some postwork then to mix the two closer together. Not the best job but it do for a image of your own. thanks for looking and comments

Nice new toy, I like the time blur car lights and keep that tripod handy or when you take a photo, put your elbows in, so they rest on your stomach, then take to photo on an outward breath...read that in photo manual, it seems to work for me, but you can beat a tripod ! ~Cheers~ :o)

Congratulations on the new camera, Jock, but, except to say you've got quite a way to go on the textural effect of the images, I'm going to reserve comment on the photos.

Camera works Great, No fall off on the egdes, and the blurs were very cool at a slow shutterspeed. U need 1/60 sec., or higher to stop the blurs. Also when U, use, Ur strobe at close - ups, U may want to put a piece of gause, or, a handkercheif, perferable a clean one,....LOL, over the strobe, to take out the white harshness from the strobe....... Great Yob!!!!!, for Ur first attempt.
