Description

And now for some positive news: the recovery service has been completed, and all of my important data has been successfully retrieved. It's now also backed up on 2 enterprise hard drives in a RAID 1 (mirrored) array with 1.2 million hours MTBF and backed up across 10 DVD-RWs just to err on the cautious side. Daru, Lana, Rena, Ciel, Oola, Max, and Kaiya all have their homes and clothes back. Several people have been kind enough to make a donation towards RadiantCG's data recovery cost, so Lana (and I) wanted to come out and show our appreciation. Those with astute memories will notice that she's wearing the Luna. This is a cropped version of the image that was sent out last night to all donors thus far thanking them for their contribution. Data recovery is quite expensive ($1500), so I'll be operating in fiscal conservation mode until its cost has been paid off. If you can, please think about donating. The button will be taken down when the total cost of recovery has been paid (donations + my own payments), and the full version of this image will no longer be sent out. hmm... looks around the room I got paper clips and some lint... ooo, and a light bulb! Buuut, I need the clips, the lint just blew away, and the bulb is burnt... guess I'll just have to send money :P hehe, I'll send it soon :D

That is great news. I am glad to hear that you were able to recover. Wonderful news actually. I'd donate, but I am so recovering from my Disneyland trip (That may take a while), so I do appologize.
