Description

wandering the wild garden of Claire’”small paradise”, “somewhere in the Cevennes”…. discovering the microworld of the grass… Again, I don’t know the name of this fly, probably belonging to the Diptera Asilidae family (robber flies)... Thank you very much for your comments on my previous upload:

You know, I have never seen these 'Robberflys' before in my life up until this year; I was zooming in on a bee one day when out of nowhere, one of these things lands right before me. WTHeck? I have him in my gallery; dont know if you've seen him or not, but since then I've seen ALL KINDS of them outside and here in the gallerys. amazing .. they are so cool looking; and you managed to get one terrific closeup here - so crisp and clear .. GOOD JOB!!!!
