Description

Shot taken up at the Old Church of Saint Stephen in Fylingthorpe. This is Debs, my friend. She is the custodian of the Old Church. Like me, she loves this spot. It is such a beautiful place to walk, just to be.. To think, to reflect. The Church stands high upon the hill that overlooks Bay. I actually managed to get this shot without Debs knowing.. I think you can clearly see from her body language how happy she is in this spot. My thanks to dear Goha for help with the sky here. Have a wonderful evening. Hugs, Diane and Debs!

The view has such a clean look about it. Not cluttered with cars and trains and people and housing development... What a beautiful view. I love the way the headstones tilt... some about to stumble downhill and some about to tumble backwards. Great shot.

Oh My Gosh!! Diane! This is a fabulous photo, I wish I could give it a whole boat load of fives .. but they will only let me give you a five. Seeing this image is almost as good as being there! You have captured this moment so perfectly that I can almost feel the sun .. smell the bay ..

Her body language says to me 'I'm at peace with the world when I stand here and gaze out at the land'. A beautiful candid and a greatly framed landscape as well, two for the pice of one. The beautiful arable fields sectioned of by hedge rows as only the English know how. An overall awesome shot, with so much to see. Bravo!!!!!

Fantastic, sneaky shot...it's always nice to see images like this: of peaceful and quiet places. The composition is great, nicely framed...it looks like there is a story behind it as well.
