Description

Hello all!! Another from Laguna Beach. Sunset is the most perfect time for walks with your best friend! I wanted to look at something soothing and peaceful after todays unfolding events ... THis mornin' SOMEone in our home decided to have a treat for breakfast. That unknown someone opened up the freezer before school which resulted in a half dozen popsicles that melted and decorated my kitchen floor in a sea of wet sticky rainbow colors ! So got out this new (really super duper slippery) floor cleaning stuff cleaned it up. Ran to get the paper towels -as i did- slipped like a circus clown and tried to catch myself but missed -landing directly on my knees caps jolting my back like a bad car wreck. couldn't get up -so crawled blindly wincing in pain for a while with my eyes shut for some reason -, next as I tried to get up LOL hit my head hard with a loud thump under the air hockey table ( which we just moved off the kitchen into the dining area - had to make room for the new computer area ) Triple threat= couldn't believe it -as I was getting up from all THAT I then suddenly was attacked with the worst Charlie horse leg cramp in my life in my right calf ... to me, =it was like a humorous scene from Sat night live and I just sat there laughing and laughed in pain ...lol yeah so that's how I handle a hard situation I mainly laugh. Anyways now my back is killing me from the fall and so I can't sit here for long... sorry to spill it all here lol but uhm it was kind of funny...LOL~!! Good thing I can laugh about it -still am infact... they say laughter is the best medicine... Thanks for all your time and comments!! Love to you all!! ((( BIg hugs ))) ~ Kimmers ♥ :O)

OMG, when I first saw the fabulous beach capture with the fantastic silhouetting, setting sun and gorgeous reflections, I had no idea that my sweet Kimmie had had a terrible accident, slipping and sliding and hitting her head, etc. If that had happened to me, I would have ended up crying and not laughing. Evidently, MrsLubner isn't the only one that sustains such injuries. I hope your back injury does not develop into anything chronic and will pass.

Beautiful sis I love the reflection and silhoutte on the water.. I know all about back pain...a good thing you weren't seriously hurt... If it keeps up please go see about it... Dr took me off my Morphine today and want to increase the patches...I am not liking this turn of events..they make me loopy and want to sleep for days on end...I don't like that at all... But love this Hugs Susan~

Sorry but I just had to laugh also, you remind me of my wife, anytime she sees an accident like yours she laughs, not only when it happens to her but when it happens to anybody. One winter she took a short cut(she thought) across the fields to get to the shops. Her friend was with her and they came to a barbed wire fence, her friend went first to climb over, she got her panties caught went tumbling down, landed face down in the snow showing her bare backside. My wife sees this and laughs so hard she slipped and landed very hard on her backside. When they get home and tell me this, I laugh until I cried. Oh! what a beautiful sunset to end the 'perfect' day. Fantastic is the word I was looking for. Bravo!!!!!

A wonderful capture of a beautiful sunset. Sometimes it is easier to laugh when you are hurt than it is to cry cause if you cry you may not be able to stop. I hope your back is feeling better they can be so painful. Take care.

Oh Kimmers! I did a similar thing a while back and it is a real bummer. You laughed about it and I wrote a poem about it. We are interesting people. It took me some weeks to get healed. I'm hoping you have a speedier recovery. I love you photograph. It is a very tranquil scene. Healing hugs, Suzanne
