I'm a software engineer by day. I spend my time pushing ones and zeros around, which is not as easy as it sounds. They're slippery little devils.BIOI discovered fractals in the mid 80's with Fractint on what must have been a 25 MHz processor. Around 2001 I upgraded all the way from 400 MHz to 1.8 GHz, and thought about making fractals again. I discovered Fractal Explorer, and later XenoDream. These days I use mostly XD and MBF, with an occasional image from ChaosPro and Quasz, since I've always loved quaternions.
For my photography I use a Canon 30D. My primary lenses are a Canon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 EF DO IS USM and a Canon 24-105 f/4 L IS USM.

Usually when I see a cloud close up, it's just fog. This is an amazing shot! Full view is like being there.

What a steep and treacherous road that looks like! Holy Smokes! What a massive mountain! Those trees appear SO small! Fantastic view ...ty for sharing! Am so sorry you were not able to see the glaciers.

A beautiful view. I haven't been there for many years. Sorry the clouds prevented your viewing any glaciers.

This is great. It's so pretty. The clouds look like cotton.

Superb capture!!!

It's fascinating how the trees seem to be growing in straight lines up the mountain and interesting to see the road cutting through so precisely! I like the contrast between the mountain and the soft, puffy clouds. I can just see the clouds curling and roiling around, clinging to the icy glaciers and hiding them from you.

You must have been on the "Going to the Sun" highway that runs from the West to the East Glacier Park entrances. Was Logan Pass in the clouds? If you go back stay at Many Glacier lodge, the view from the back out to lake and mountains is breath taking! Thanks for sharing.

This is a beautiful view even without being able to see the tops of the mountains, so imagine how beautiful it would have been without the clouds. We didn't see the tops on our trip there in June either. Maybe they don't have tops, perhaps that is just a myth to draw tourists.
