Focus Rick. Mernac is a place where a talent like you can freely expose themselves, market themselves, and have the possibility of making money from the art that is within your soul. Interested? Then read on. Before I go on. For the people who have been following my Art on Renderosity. I am going to take a sabbatical from art. I need to write a book called �What is Mernac?� And for the people who have been following my fiction on Mernac, and maybe some other places. I am going on vacation from the many fantasy fiction stories I have started. I am going on a sabbatical. I need to write a book called �What is Mernac?� What is the book about? Well, it is about how a guy who created this fictional fantasy world on the internet, recruited people with talent and passion and created company dedicated to one thing, one concept, one ideal. And most of them made a ton on Money. The only thing he asked them do was to create a place where a talent can freely expose themselves, market themselves, and have the possibility of making money from the art that is within their soul. That�s our mission statement. That is what this is all about. However, the whole idea almost went down the tubes. Because the guy (me!) who came up with the whole idea and game plan lost focus. He got wrapped up in his own art, and his own writing. His RW (real world) job requirements became excessive. So he tried lots of things to quickly get the concept going � here � there - everywhere. He was completely disorganized and scattered! Success doesn�t work like that. He should have known better. What the real problem was that he was trying to drive the whole thing himself and had never properly communicated (or followed) a business plan (or creative plan) to the �Gods� and �Disciples� who were helping build the fictional world and the device which would allow a place where talents of many disciplines could be fostered and flourish. There was a plan � it was just locked away in his head. He was gently prodded by his right-hand God, Quont (and a few others) to get his act together, get organized, communicate the plan and then follow it. (Thank you BTW Quont!). So he thought about it for a few days, defined the true purpose of his project. Defined the Mission Statement and decided to write a book defining what Mernac is and how he and the Gods were going to make it a success. It will take me a month or two to get it spit all out�. If I focus. So that is what I am going to do. As each part is completed the raw writing is completed it will be placed on his Blog: �Building Mernac� (aptly named, don�t ya think?): http://siberlee-mernac.blogspot.com/ It will probably be the only place you will find my presence for a while. So please stop by often and give me your input and advice. And particularly the �Gods� and �Disciples� of Mernac. I need your input. Tell me the Lore you need defined, tell me the places you want fleshed out, ask me to define the different ways we can make money. Ask for timelines of implementation! Pressure me to make the book a working business plan as well as a source for information. Terees, I have decided your �God� duty. Take the raw information, clean it up (with help of others) organize it and disseminate it to the site in a logical format. Consult extensively with Quont and The Other.
