Description

Photography is not my best suit-it is a hobby that I've grown into over the past four, five years. What has been a hobby, and passion, of mine is Urban Exploration. I see abandoned, ruined, forgotten areas; buildings, grain bins, barns, drains, warehouses, houses...whatever looks neglected and forgotten...and they call to me. Yes, it is not a readily accepted hobby. No, it isn't 'quite legal'... There are three very important rules I follow during my U.E. 1. Take nothing but photos, leave nothing but footprints. 2. If there is no way in; leave it that way. 3. Have respect for the past, the history of where you are. Photographing such areas is almost like cataloguing man's capacity to overtake, populate, and forget. I have done this since before I was ten-before there was a term designated for such a thing. I'm not the only one; not all of 'us' follow the same rules. Please enjoy my passion. Camera; Digital Aiptek (See-amateur!) 8 MP, at an abandoned warehouse for location. The only editing I did on PS7 would be to sharpen it a bit. The light reflection, ect.. came by way of nature. I was a lucky dog. At a VERY busy area of town. :D Gabriel van Dark's work had me inspired to post mine. Blame him!

Oh YES, please blame me, no problem! ;-)) And it's gettin' even worse: I hope to see MORE of it!!! (BIG SMILE) I simply cannot pass old stones, cemeteries, buildings... Some of them have such a strong attraction they leave visions in my head - how it looked long time ago. Well, did I mention sometimes I go there at midnight...? Maybe I shouldn't do so g

I will, I shall, I have!!! :D!!! Oh, as soon as I find the rest of the file... (There is an abandoned hospice and a hotel on it) I want to put more here.... And I know, KNOW the feeling. I haunted, and wandered many a cemetary, church, building; still am doing it now! oooO. I'm reminded. I have mausoleum photos at home. Hmm. (BIG GRIN) Ah, no, and Noooo really, shouldn't. BUT. I have! I do! And I wanna see more pics from you! XD
