For our FAVORITE resident bug-luvver - The Cicada & The Snail! Was snooping thru my
"ONE OF THESE DAYS - I GOTTA FINISH EDITING THESE PIX" folders & came across a wunnerful CICADA that STOPPED me on the street & "nudged" a nearby Snail into the mix. I love Bugggeezzz & Critterzzz Too Shari! Except of course for SPIDERS - EEEE-YIKES!!!

WOW! A cicada! I've been obsessed with those for quite some time and this is the best capture of one I have seen in quite a long time. Brilliantly done, brilliantly composed, and I love the concept and not so expected combo of Cicada and snail. Great work!

WISH I could take credit for the "CAPTURE"... but alas - The poor Cicada was D.O.A. & so too the wee snail. This is what happens tho, when you LOOK AT YOUR FEET at the curb... We have a lake just across the street from us & a really sharrrp curve in the road just before it. So you GOTTA watch WHERE you STAND since cars come screaminnnn round that corner on two wheels & I'd make such a huge HELL of a mess if they hit me! Thanks again for the kind comments! Teri
