I have only ever done one rain style image, and that was a side view. I thought I would try doing rain from an above view. It's a lot more difficult than I anticipated. Please, offer critiques, as well as some tutorial links/suggestions on how to do this image better. Thanks!

I can see what you mean, at first glance I thought she had the twi'lek equivalent of "spidey sense" or something. I think the problem here is that the rain seems to be in a radial pattern with the character at the centre, rather than a more random pattern. Since I've rarely even attempted rain myself, I'm at a loss as to how to improve on this one. It looks pretty cool regardless though...
