Appears to be a tarantula. I don't know what kind though or whether it is bad tempered or one of the even tempered ones. Very nice shot. The hair in there with him is a special touch. :-)

Absolutely AWESOME macro! It gives me the "heebie-jeebies" (slang in the US for getting a creepy feeling or shiver) -- I am afraid of spiders, but love to take pictures and see pictures of them. Very well done!!!! :^)

He looks very cool ^^ I have yet to capture a Wolf Spider in my backyard with my camera ^^ They're about half-dollar size and eat roaches so of course I love'em ^_^
