Fascinating image. This reminds me of Chicago when there was a an exhibit of cows in the Downtown district called "Cows on parade" a couple of years ago.

I really like this! Although you noted it was inspired by the cowparade stuff, to me it looks far more metaphorical. The floor/ground the cow is standing on resembles graph paper businesses use to show upward and downward business trends. So one could also interpret this as a statement about the current situation with business and world markets and economies -- with the cow -- or 'bull'(as in bull and bear markets) alone and not knowing where to go next. Thought it was technically very good -- like the texture and colours of the cow; liked the fact it is looking away from the viewer, and is standing in isolation within an epanse of landscape. I thought you did a super job with the shadow. Only thing I would offer as a critical comment is that I was not enthralled with the purple tones in the foreground of the sky. But this is a very picky point and could well be my computer.
