Description

Shibden Hall, Halifax West Yorkshire. The House was Built Around 1420. Many generations lived here and worked. For 300 years it was home to the Lister Family. this is a section of the rear view. unfortunately I was unable to get a good full front view because there was regeneration of surrounding grounds etc and was fenced off, and will continue to be until 2008. I did however, tour most of the Hall and viewed many Coaches and Carriages and outer working Buildings. Got loads of photos and i intend to Post a short series, all comments welcome. Oh and sorry for the untidy Postwork trying to clone area where wires were, my first attempt at this sort of stuff, Thanks, Alan

Blimey Alan, last time I went here I was about 12 years old. Pity you couldn't get the other view, it is a very imposing building. I certainly look forward to your series. Congratulations on giving it a go with the clone brush, bad area to work with windows. You will get there though. Bravo!!!!!
