but they seem to scare a lot of people

How big is that? What kind of spider. Looks like either a kind of wolf spider, or funnel web spider. What country and region was this taken in? Pic is kind of blurry, but nice image. I love spiders. Looks sort of like the kind I used to catch as a kid.
