"There once was a ragged old garden, The home of a nutty churchwarden. He'd puff on his pipe, Cry out, 'Oh what tripe!' While reading the Book he was holden." ~ me
More limmerics -- what has gotten into me? Lots of infrared leaves (for Egmont). Another look at the grounds of the Pinewood Estate seen first in my other Unkempt photograph. While I did do some Levels and Hue/Saturation adjustments, there was no swapping of the red and blue color chanels this time. I wanted to keep the frosty looking foliage and atomic sky. ------
Thanks for your fishy comments on my previous upload, Whiskers ----- Sony DSC-P200 (IR Converted) & PhotoshopCS. (1006) Lake Wales, FL, USA 2007 Sponsored by: Kramer Kreations

I really like what the IR filter does to the grass, like you said just like frost and icicles...now where are my snow shoes ? Nice composition and capture ! ~Cheers~ :o)

Hey, you're a poet and don't know it! Ahem, actually, the sentence, "The once was a ragged old garden, should be "This once was a ragged old garden," I know, picky, picky, picky. Other than that, another perfect infrared creation, what with the exquisite trees, manicured lawn, and sky, to behold!

This would be a blessing on a hot day. Please send some over.... Excellent. Aloha

You're on a roll with the limericks so don't stop now I love them and they make me chuckle. I like the frosty look of these trees and the sky looks interesting. Great shot.

It doesn't look 'unkempt' to me...but rather beautifully ordered. Another beauty of a shot, Kortaloo. And I like that....'atomic sky'...Very fitting words for it. LOL at your limerick. That's very good!!!!-M :^)

Brilliant image, you have stirred memmories in me as well, I had just started a new job, in a maze of valves and pipping I mistakenly turned on an outdoor sprinkler system in -35* weather, we left our dismall uderground crypt to emerge into a winter wonderland, with a fine coat of glassy beauty every tree, bush and blade of grass shimmered in the bright and crisp full moonlight, I felt like an accidental atrist at that moment, it was profound. thanks for your kind comments, your gallery is spectacular in quality and size I can see why you do what you do for a living. "home dome" immediately brought to mind a future or past world where under water is the only place our 90% water bodies can hide from hungry aliens.

WOW! Snow in September! We had an early snot last year, October 13th as I remember! Lots of trees damaged. I don't think these trees will be hurt at all though!

The pattern that the path and the the trees make here is very wonderful to see. I have really enjoyed catching up on your gallery today - always a delight to view!
