Description

Terrain generated with GeoControl2 (alpha version) Here the river tool was most important. That river is really flowing down, at all a heightdifference of 400 m. The shading is a bit pur, only a first test, I have to get used with TG2 too. Thanks for viewing Johannes Rosenberg developer of GeoControl

I love the river and all of its dry tributaries from the dropping of the water levels and rain drainage flows!

I can only attempt to imagine the complexities of coding a program to achieve the river flow. The undertaking is enormous indeed. The only fault I see is the river too perfectly follows the center of the sedimentary flats. In reality there would be more crooks and turns along the flats and possible deltas and branching. Please everyone recognize this is the musing of a foolish jester in the presence of the master.

Agree skiwillgee. You are on the way to find a really great river generator, master!

Very interesting.
What I have been thinking, I see the flow maps that were made with your program. Why don't just pick a starting point on one of those maps and follow it down? ,-)

I also agree with skiwillgee on this topic, any major hitting 3-D app would be foolish not to incorporate cajomi's terrain editor in to their app , this is cutting edge stuff people !
