Description

This is a test of the emergency laughter broadcast system. So do not change your dials or move to a different computer screen. If there is a shiny object in space and something passes by it, and there is no one there to see it does it still have a reflection? What an age-old question for us to ask. And one that is quite humorous as well. However, this can also be an intriguing question. Out in space in a region less traveled, there is a formation called The Eye of Possible Reflections. Now why would someone slap a name like that on a formation? There is a very simple answer. Like a house of mirrors in a circus show, this formation has reflective spheres that travel through its structures. But unlike the mirrors in a house of mirrors, these spheres do not reflect a true image. What this means is that the reflections one sees in the spheres are a re-arrangement of the reflected objects. They are not the true reflection that we have become accustomed to seeing. Somewhere, some how this formation had to be given a name that related to its unique talents. Since the Bermuda Triangle name had already been taken, the Executive Board of the Universe Corporation held a contest. The contestants for this naming contest were elementary school students. Knowing that kids this age were quite creative made it even more fun for the judges. The winner was announced on the eve of the new millennium. Every one was surprised when it was announced that Suzy Surefoot had won the contest. Way to go Suzy! So the next time you pass by a mirror, take a peak and make sure that everything is where it is supposed to be in that reflection. You never know when The Eye of Possible Reflections might pass through your neighborhood. Created in Apophysis. Thank you for stopping by to look at my art. Thank you for your comments on this image and my previous images. I send a heart felt thank you to those of you who favored me as an artist or favored one of my images. I appreciate it very much. May life always reflect back to you your greatest joys and may that joy make your heart sing.
