Description
Used the dcmermaid for this composition, thanks Dan great job. The sky is a mixture of pics and Bryce...everything else is rendered in Bryce except for the falls which I had to draw in. Photoshop for post details.

Agree with dcort.....was it Vermeer who did skies like this? El Greco? Look at that water! The sky is a threatening, powerful element, but your careful use of lighting in the foreground provides a place of peacefulness and safety for the viewer. Awesome!

Ooh! Aah! That gal on the rock is extra sweet. Why do your Bryce rock textures look so bump-map awesome, and mine look so bit map cruddy? Great job on the falls, not fake at all!

This is right on with the exception of slight pixel remnants from the photo. You draw beautifully. The falls look perfect on your ingeniously tilted terrain. Wonderful colors.
