Description

this sand piper was feasting on the cochinas in shore break in front of camp mojo at the beach. we had a nice time watching he/she scurry to and fro. I was hoping to catch this little rascal with its head up for a nice silhouette against the sparkling sea, but just missed. in this current age of $9.99 photo processing I didn't just blast away on the shutter because my wife gets irritated looking at 5 pictures of a bird doing the same thing. all making the argument for mojo to acquire a digital slr... a little more persuasive. heh heh heh. nikon n80 matte in photoshop cs comments are welcome. thanks for your time and have a great weekend.

Sand pipers always have a calming feel for me but with the lighting as it is and the glisten on the water, the entire shot becomes so very soothing.

A great argument for going digital...:^) But this is lovely. It has a serene quality and freshness that is very appealing. I'm already missing those long summer days....

digital is the way to go.I could not afford developing at all.since I have had digital I would guess I have taken probably nearly 8000 shots.of course maybe 3/4 usable. beautiful beach scene. I like watching the birds also
