Description
APO and PSP
On the distant world Anhydrus there is very little water and the climate is hot and dry...thus the name Anhydrus. :-) Life forms have adapted as they do on many other worlds. This critter is a form of what we would call a centipede. Its specialty is that it can fly! It absorbs moisture from the air and stores it in the yellow sacs under its wings. The wings act as legs on the ground. The legs are many with very small tips so as not to touch the hot surface any more than necessary.......just bear with me, folks....I'm new to this sci-fi dialog stuff! LOL!

A beautiful creature, that's for sure. But I am SO glad it's only an image of that thing. I very intensely do not like centipedes. Still, this critter is a magnifident critter!!
