Description

Artrage with finish work in PS This is my niece. I am trying to get this good enough to give her for her baby shower next week. Her mom is a member on the site so am collabrating with her to get the final touches. Any technique hints appreciated.

Sis - this is what I did to create the pic of Esther.... It took about 8-10 hours maybe more. What I did was trace a picture of her in Artrage and then using the tracing pallet used it to paint her. Then I have to view a picture of her next to what I am working on and create the fine details. Once I get it to where I think it might work I take it into Photoshop. I used the artistic filters to determine the medium and then used script to add lines. I rendered lighting affects until I found one I liked. That is about it. I had a very hard time getting the eye expression and the curve of the mouth.

I think the face is one of the best things about you painting, Karan. I'm lousy at faces, so always happy to see when someone does a super job. My only suggestion would be to try to take some of the blurriness from the belly bump side of her top, but not too sharp. This will make a wonderful gift. Hugs, Suzanne
