I've heard it said that a good wife is like medicine to her husband...guess thats why I'm so healthy :-). This is Bobbie and I on our vacation to Cozumel.BIOI started taking, developing and printing my own photos when I was a about 11 years old. My Dad built me a darkroom and I always loved making composite images in those days.
I started drawing and painting as well and after graduating from High School I attended Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota FL. Loved the work of F. Frazetta, M. Parrish, S. Dali and V. Bode. The Ringling years were fun.
Bobbie and I knew each other from first grade and I always loved her...but we were always "just friends" until my second year at Ringling. Thats when I decided to go back home for the summer and talk her into coming back to Fl with me...she said yes and a year later, we were married. That was 22 years ago and If I had it to do over again I wouldnt change a thing.
After graduating from Ringling we moved to Atlanta and I worked for some photographers building sets and developing film...but the city life was not for me...we moved back to SC and have remained here for the last 20 years. We have a 17 year old son.

Love your work, Lazarus. I hope you and your wife have a happy long life. :-) And a msg to 3delf: "Whether you like it or not, you DID rate his work and you gave it 5! If you "dunt like #'s", you could give it a 10 just as well... unless you think it's fair to give such a beautiful work a 5! Did anybody tell you that Laz doesn't care for #'s either? Since he wants us to rate his work, he DOES care, that's why he submitted his work giving us the chance to rate ti. If YOU "dunt like #'s" write your opinion to the opinion only submissions. Respect the other's will.

Excellent work. Is this a "doctored" photograph or modelled in a 3D program?
