AEGIPAN is a photographer who likes to be defined by his work and not by his credentials or what he did before. Some people are just about the now, and Aegipan is one of those individuals.
You can tell it the moment you start looking through his portfolio.
He has a deep interest in capturing the different faces of human nature, and especially the ever-changing shades of the female form. He focuses his lens on the many moods of women: women being playful, being serious, being sassy, being romantic, being sullen, being sexy. Women being themselves. And he captures each instant.

Pretty girl nice pose One question though. The contrast of the white sheer curtain and the brick wall coming right at the middle of her head, was that your intent? I want to get back into photography, just curious.

Some explanations about this picture. The picture was taken in a "daylight studio". Unfortunately during all the day, the sun was shining ... too much causing what we call "harsh" light. That was awful, we've tried to reduce and to soften the light as much as possible. Too much harsh light wasn't only a problem for me but also for the models. Especially for Aliona, she's blonde with pale skin and ... very light blue eyes. Finally, I put the sofa in a corner in a "semi protected" area for the models. If I had to take the picture again, I would "open" more my lens ( f./2.8 or 3.5 max 4.0 instead of using 5.6 here ) to blur off the background a little more but with so much light again, it would be nearly impossible without burning away all the white tones. It's quite challenging, but IMHO I think that the picture is quite "good" especially with such bad circumstances. So always remember : As a photographer, sun is your enemy ( sun, not light ). Never go in a "daylight studio" when the sun is shining without any clouds in sight ... or take with you some big black curtains. And as a man, there are so many better things to do with a nice girl in a sofa on a sunny day ... ( better than trying to take pictures. ) That's all for today.
