From geese to a worm... My son and I were standing out on my front porch one rainy afternoon when we found this interesting worm. I've never seen one before and haven't since. It's a hammerhead worm. Very impressive shot! I have never seen one before and yes, this is the first I've ever heard they exist - thank you!. :o) He looks strange, and yet very cool! Great use of lighting on him as well. Thank you for sharing. :o)

really a cool macro. I do not know which of these slugs do, but a least one breed can dispense a very toxic poison and it will burn flesh

This is a land planarian...sort of a primitive worm that feeds on earthworms (exotic introduction to the U.S. via potted tropical plants, so the theory goes). They're actually sort of bad, because they eat earthworms.
