Hey, when did you sneak into our yard :) We planted broom a couple of years ago, and it is really worth it. Of course, after about two years you begin to see why it got the name. I've heard that the best way to prune it is to cut back about 1/3 of the branches each year, but that you shouldn't cut them all back at once.
