Description

Mikey went to a birthday party yesterday that had a petting zoo come out to where they were and this guy(gal?) was one of the critters there. Don't know a thing about geese, but I'm pretty sure they're not supposed to look like that. But maybe there's a breed/species that does...*shrug* Anyway...thought it looked like an interesting capture, so here it is. Thanks for the comments on Adelaide. John

Oh man... looks like this one got pet a little too often and a little too roughly. Great exposure on this, the whites still have all their detail- no blow outs to pure 100% and the grass detail in the shadows is still visible- really an excellent capture!!

awwwww, I guess all of us have seen better days now and then and may be this is just one of this goose's 'off days', but its a nice thoughtful shot and I bet he was just putting a 'show' on, so he got left lone lol!

I was wondering if she's molting. I hope that was all there was to it. Either that, or she was in a speeding car with the top down, and got ruffled feathers. Excellent capture.

I think this is a different sort of fancy goose. We have thousands of Canadian Geese here in Michigan, and their feathers are completely different. Great shot!
