Description

The spires of Roskilde Cathedral, grasping for the sky. This is where all Danish kings and queens since the late Viking Age have found their final resting place. Earliest traces date back to the late 1100s, but the Cathedral in it's present form was begun some time in the 1400s. The earlier kings and queens were then later laid to rest here... or rather, what was left of them.. :o))
